The Xavier Passerelle Basketball Team will square off against Ateneo De Manila University in the finals of the Milo SBP – Passerelle Basketball Tournament slated this Sunday, 30 September 2007. The championship game is scheduled at 9:00am and will be held in the Fr. Cortina Sports Center Jacinto Tiu Competition Court.

Meanwhile, the Xavier Small Basketeers of the Philippines(SBP) team lost to La Salle Greenhills in their semi-final match and will be playing for 3rd Place against San Beda at 9:30am on the same day.

The Stallions trampled De La Salle Zobel 58 – 50 in their semi-finals game last Sunday to earn the finals slot. Ateneo lorded over La Salle Greenhills in the other semis game. This Milo – sponsored tournament is for boys 12 – 14 years old.

Coach Lito Vergara said that his boys are in high spirits and are ready for the winner-take-all match this Sunday. The champion team will represent NCR in the national finals which will be held late this year.
