Stage FX presents, on its 16th season, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The musical will be performed at the HS MPH on Friday, February 26, at 7:00 PM, and  twice on Saturday, February 27, 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Tickets are P150 each. For inquiries call 092-8469757.

The musical is based on the story of Joseph, one of the 12 sons of Jacob, taken from the Book of Genesis. It evolved from a short concert piece performed by the choir of Colet Court, a British preparatory school of St. Paul’s School in 1968. After many transformations and expansions, it opened on West End and Broadway. Its family-friendly storyline, universal themes, and catchy music have made it one of most popular musicals of our times. More than 20,000 schools and amateur theater groups have successfully put on productions of this modern classic.

The Stage FX production is directed by Maan Fradejas and EJ Legaspi.
