Sophomore ICAns and Junior Xaverians formed new friendships during the High 2-High 3 Interaction, entitled Status, on January 16 at the Valle Verde Country Club. The interaction served as an opportunity for the students of both schools to find new friends and improve their social graces.

The six-hour long party, packed with an array of activities and performances, helped develop the teenagers’ social skills.Beginning at five in the afternoon, the activity started off with the introduction of the students in their respective table groups with some icebreaker games. The facilitators, or facis, managed to keep their groups lively with each passing minute of the night.

Gift certificates from Starbucks and Yogurt Froz were given out to students. While dinner was being served, bands from both schools played songs to keep the audience energetic and hyped.

Bands Minus 2 and These Red Vices from ICA, on the other hand, sang for their Xaverian counterparts. Dance X and the ICA Dance Troupe also performed for the crowd.

Before the activity ended, and as a final tribute to everyone before parting ways, the dance floor was kept open till 11pm. Dance songs from famous artists were played. Emcees for the interaction were Jeremy Cua (H4G) and Jazmin Reyes (H4 Fidelity).

I, Enrique Panganiban, the writer of this article, would like to express my sincerest apologies to the 4th band that played during the H2 H3 interaction. The band comprised of Enrique Fausto, Patrick Lim, Marty Franco, Jasper Tan, Luna Rye, Jee Lee and Ada Reyes equally deserve the credit for performing on stage that night.
