Celebrating the Feast of the Immaculate Conception with Mass and Marian Exhibit

marian-mass-with-fr-borres.jpgThe school celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception with an institutional Mass last Dec. 8, 8:00 am, at the Fr. Cortina Sports Center gym. Invited to officiate was Fr. Silvino “Junjun” Borres, SJ, currently the Director of the SPFY Program of the San Jose Seminary. Fr. Ismael Zuloaga and Fr. Art Borja celebrated with him.

marian-exhibit-blessing.jpgIn addition to the Marian celebration, the school also opened a special Marian exhibit at the HS Library. The school administrators attended the simple opening ceremonies that included the blessing by Fr. Art Borja, School Chaplain.

marian-exhibit-christmas-village.jpgThe exhibit features statues and icons loaned by faculty and staff and Marian artwork in various materials by students. To add to the spirit of the Christmas season, the LRC is also showcasing “The Christmas Village,” a collection of Christmas-themed miniature houses  and scenes owned and set-up by Dr. Joseph Ng.
