Nico Ibaviosa (08) has volunteered for the The White Hat (TWH) – Italian Frozen Yogurt company’s sixth CELEBRITY-FOR-CHARITY event that will be held on October 31, 2009, Saturday at the SM North EDSA Annex Building.

When he found out about TWH’s charity program, he happily volunteered his time and named the UP SAGIP ISKO as his beneficiary. Spearheaded by the UP Diliman University Student Council, this program is aimed at organizing relief operations, collecting donations, and assisting UP students who were badly affected by the recent typhoons.

Nico graduated in 2008 and is currently a sophomore student in UP Diliman, where he is also part of the swimming team. He is a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Circle Batch 16 and a cast member of TV-5’s LIPGLOSS.

Since it’s also Halloween time, TWH decided to add special awards for customers who come in costume. There will be special awards for the following three categories: Best Costume (Male), Best Costume (Female), and Best Costume (Kids). Each winner will be chosen by Nico.

On this day, from 1-5 PM , Nico will actually serve the customers. The company will donate 50% of the entire day’s sales to the celebrity’s charity of choice, in this case, UP Sagip Isko. Everyone is invited to drop by THE WHITE HAT at SM North EDSA Annex Level 2 on October 31, 2009, Saturday.
