aaxs-induction-turnover.jpg

The newly elected officers of the AAXS took their oath last July 15 (Wed), at the Angelo King MPC. Fr. Johnny Go administered the oath of office to officers led by President Arnold “Jing” Velasco (83) and Vice President Atty. Ramon Lapez, Jr. (84). The newly inducted President then swore into office the different batch representatives.

The induction ceremonies began after the invocation given by Fr. Art Borja, SJ and the buffet dinner. The official program started with welcome remarks from John de Guzman (67), and an inspirational message from Fr. Ismael Zuloaga, SJ. A special plaque of appreciation was given to the former president, Dr. Kelly Salvador (78), who acknowledged all those who helped him during his term. Serving as master of ceremonies was Andrew Que (72).

Arnold “Jing” Velasco belongs to Batch 83 and not Batch 81 as placed on the article.
