XS Briefs Architects on XS II Project

Xavier School scheduled an Architects’ Briefing last October 27, 2008 to provide information to the short-listed architects about the Xavier School II project.

The briefing included a summary of the VMG and key objectives/characteristics of the new school, the main guidelines in building design that conform to sound environmental principles, and the Campus Master Plan and Phase 1 development.

The meeting, organized by the Architect Selection Committee chaired by Arturo Dy (75), was attended by 15 architects that qualified as possible candidates for the design of the new school in Canlubang, Laguna. With this briefing, the architects are expected to submit their proposals for evaluation by end of November. The Architect Selection Committee hopes to make a recommendation to the School Director and the Board of Trustees by mid-December.
