The 31st of July is the feast day of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus. St. Ignatius is honored and remembered not only for establishing the Jesuit Order, but also for his contribution in spirituality especially through his Spiritual Exercises, as well as his life of mysticism and service.

Today Xavier School joins other Jesuit schools and institutions all over the world to honor this great man and saint. There will be an Institutional Mass this morning to be presided by newly ordained priest, Fr. Xavier Olin, SJ.
