Congratulations to Batch 83, organizers of the recently concluded 16th AAXS Golf Cup, held at the Tagaytay Highlands last June 27, 2008. This year’s event is considered to be the most successful staging ever of the annual tournament.

There was a record turnout of participants, 130 in all, including 117 alumni. It featured the most number of hole-in-one car prizes, four in total; and was the first to raffle off a brand new car after no one succeeded in acing the holes with car prizes. The success was due to the hard work of Batch 83, especially of those in the organizing committee: Michael Ng, Committee Head, and members Andrew Tan, Sidney Cheng, and Raymond Go.

In the team competition, the winners were: Champion - BATCH 2001 (277), 1st Runner-Up - BATCH 1972 (283), and 2nd Runner-Up - BATCH 1987 (284). The individual champions were Greg Yang (Class A), Johnip Cua (Class B), and Kevin Po (Class C).
