Xaverian in the News: Jade Bernas

storymagazine.jpgAnother Xaverian is in the spotlight. Jade Bernas (Batch 85) was featured in the Young Star section of the The Philippine Star, April 18 editi0n.

The article focused on Jade as a “visionary” publisher of new fiction. His magazine is Story Philippines, which hopes to “make reading fiction accessible.” Hence, one of the main considerations in selecting works to be featured in the magazine is whether the story is “entertaining or likable.” Good luck and more power to Jade in his advocacy to promote original Filipino literature!
