In their visit to The Plaza, Team 1 boys were allowed to eat in KFC or McDonalds as a way for them to treat themselves if they so desired. The boys who went to KFC realized that prices were very expensive. And so, many decided to pass on the offer. However, several students, namely Enzo Manzano, James Zamora, Timothy Lafuente and Jasper Lee, decided on a different strategy. Strength in numbers. They pooled their resources together and bought a bucket meal instead, enabling them not only to save on money, but allowing them to partake of the chicken they’ve been looking forward to.

Some boys didn’t even bother to visit KFC or McDonalds, instead they took on the challenge of trying out the local delicacies sold at the supermarket. Unafraid and eager for adventure, Liam Ng and Jao Gamboa tried the various forms of dimsum locally made in Guangzhou, served hot off the stove.
