The duly elected officers of the High School Student Council, as well as of each class, took their respective oaths last September 12. The ceremony was witnessed by the entire high school community during its usual Wednesday general assembly.
During the ceremony, student leaders vowed to fulfill their duties and responsibilities, as well as uphold the ideals of Xavier School, among others.
Most of the members of the High School Student Council were elected in March, last school year, while freshman batch representative, Winchell Wong (H1G), and the class officers, were elected early this school year.
After the oath-taking, Student Council President Leigh Wade Wong (4A) responded to the oaths. (click to read speech)

Mr. John Huang, head of the Student Council Commission on Elections, served as emcee.
