Prep Students Close the Year with Spectacular Program

Grade 7 English GEMS Class Showcase

XS Community Breaks Ground for Xavier School Nuvali


The Xavier School community woke up early Sunday morning on the 14th of March 2010 to travel to the site of Xavier School Nuvali for the auspicious start of construction for the new campus. The school is situated in the heart of the Nuvali development, a joint development of Ayala Land and the Yulo family, located in the former Canlubang Estate in Calamba, Laguna. An Invitation to the Ricci Pilgrimage to China October 2010

On the occasion of the 4th centenary of Matteo Ricci’s death, the Jesuit Chinese-Filipino apostolate is organizing a pilgrimage to key sites in the Jesuit mission in China, in October 2010. Ricci, born the same year that St Francis Xavier died on the island of Shangchuan, was the most eminent Jesuit missionary to China.  He began his missionary work in Macao and slowly made his way north until he gained access to the Ming emperor in Beijing and secured a place for Christianity in China.  He died in Beijing in 1610 and was buried with imperial honors.

Eureka: The Xavier Challenge 2010

Eight science schools participated in the “Eureka: The Xavier Challenge 2010” held on February 17 at the Xavier High School Multi-Purpose Hall. The participating schools around Metro Manila, with 15 teams formed in total, engaged in this competition as a venue to test their students’ knowledge in Science as well as to promote camaraderie among participating schools. Xavier Prep Students Win 4th Place in the Chinese Interschool Children’s Dance Competition
