Silver Finish for Xavier SBP & Paserelle Teams

今年九月十八日,从以色列大使馆的雅尼夫先生 (Mr. Yaniv) 来到光启学校, 在英语课上向中四英文资优班的学生们介绍以色列的历史及文化。英语资优班的课堂主题就是犹太大屠杀, 因而特别邀请了他。 几天以前,英语资优班的薇薇安·欧嵌坡老师 (Mrs. Vivian Ocampo) 安排学生们唱一首歌给雅尼夫先生听,唱的是一首关于人们团结真美妙的歌。雅尼夫先生对学生们讲了很多, 比如: 他介绍了有关以色列的人口、陆地面积,宗教和一些社会现状。然后,他也讲了关于他对于犹太大屠杀、歧视等其他争论问题的一些看法和观点。介绍完之后, 学生们问了他一些问题;雅尼夫先生很高兴地作以回答。下课的时候,学生们给了雅尼夫先生几件礼物,因为他花时间来光启学校给学生讲他们国家的文化及历史。
光启学校社会科学部主任俄克森、中文部余主任和一些老师也参与了这次活动。大家都认真仔细地听讲,因为那是一个很难得的机会,实在是特别。
“我希望菲律宾和以色列会很亲密地沟通、交流、合作。”这是雅尼夫先生的话,也是我们的期盼。

He is the first Filipino to hold the top post in this hotel, and only the third Filipino ever appointed as GM of an international deluxe five-star hotel in the Philippines. Xavier School Welcomes Sisters from Shanghai
