Traffic in Xavier Street came to a standstill two fine Saturday mornings in September, as lines and lines of Grade Three boys crossed the street coming from inside the Xavier School campus into Mary the Queen Church, looking dashing in their impeccably tailored white barongs. In their visit to The Plaza, Team 1 boys were allowed to eat in KFC or McDonalds as a way for them to treat themselves if they so desired. The boys who went to KFC realized that prices were very expensive. Read the rest of this entry »

One of the most popular means of transportation here in Guangzhou is the subway. Most parts of the city are interconnected through four train lines. Outside SCNU, for example is the Huashi station. Team 1 boys had the opportunity this evening to ride the subway to the next station, Gangding, as a means to visit one of the many malls here in Guangzhou, The Plaza. Read the rest of this entry »
